About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Red Hat OpenShift Architect with deep expertise across Azure Cloud, Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO), Advanced Cluster Management (ACM), and Advanced Cluster Security (ACS). The individual will design, implement, and optimise scalable, highly secure, cloud‑native OpenShift environments while guiding cross‑functional teams and ensuring operational resilience across business‑critical platforms.

What you will do

Lead Red Hat OpenShift solution design and delivery across data centre and Azure environments.Architect scalable, secure and resilient solutions using ARO and integrate OpenShift with Azure services.Develop reference architectures and best practices for OpenShift deployment and lifecycle management.Implement and manage ACM for multi-cluster and multi-cloud environments.Prepare roadmaps, change plans and blueprints for cluster provisioning, automation, and upgrades.Manage certificates, licences and associated governance requirements.Conduct security assessments, apply ACS, implement RBAC, network policies, and strengthen cluster security.Manage logging, monitoring, alerting, performance tuning and capacity planning.Analyse, design and review technical documents, SOPs and change plans.Mentor engineers, conduct workshops, and collaborate with development, operations, security and compliance teams.Evaluate emerging cloud-native tools and technologies in partnership with vendors.Ensure high availability, disaster recovery readiness, and effective response to incidents.

Who you are

A seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience in cloud and container technologies.An expert in OpenShift, Azure Cloud and ARO, ACM and ACS.Proficient in DevOps practices, CI/CD, and automation tooling.Skilled in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible) and scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell).Knowledgeable in ITIL, SOX frameworks and security regulations.Experienced in large-scale, business‑critical environments.Preferably certified in OpenShift, with experience in the telecommunications domain.Equipped with strong hardware, networking knowledge and a solution‑oriented, collaborative mindset.
