About this Role
We are seeking a Senior Pega System Architect to lead the implementation of Pega PRPC solutions across multi-process applications. This role involves translating technical designs into robust implementations, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring adherence to Pega development guardrails. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Pega 7.x, performance tuning, and general IT knowledge, with a collaborative mindset and strong analytical capabilities.
What you’ll do
- Implement technical designs created by Lead System Architects using Pega PRPC 7.2.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance across offshore and onshore teams.
- Ensure compliance with Pega development guardrails and best practices.
- Conduct performance analysis and tuning of Pega applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver functional and non-functional benefits.
- Analyse complex software systems and resolve technical challenges creatively.
- Apply general IT knowledge including Oracle DBs/SQL, Unix scripting, and integration protocols.
- Contribute to effective software delivery aligned with SOA and integration architecture.
Who you are
- Certified Pega Senior System Architect with 3–5 years of experience in Pega implementations.
- Proven track record of delivering Pega applications from design to production.
- Strong understanding of Pega processes, UI, integrations, agents, and class structures.
- Experience in performance tuning and greenfield project delivery.
- Familiarity with Java, Unix shell scripting, Oracle SQL, and Weblogic.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in onsite/offshore setups.
- Analytical thinker with a pragmatic and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Holds a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
