About this Role

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Report Developer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in M Query and DAX, with a solid foundation in data modelling and SQL. This role is pivotal in transforming complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the organisation.

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to business needs.
  • Leverage M Query and DAX to perform advanced data transformations and calculations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse reporting requirements.
  • Optimise data models to ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to end-users for effective report utilisation.
  • Stay abreast of the latest Power BI features and industry best practices to enhance reporting capabilities.

Who you are

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Possess at least 3 years of experience in Power BI report development.
  • Proficient in M Query and DAX for data manipulation and complex calculations.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling principles and best practices.
  • Experienced in working with SQL and relational databases.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders.
  • (Preferred) Familiarity with other BI tools such as Tableau or QlikView.
  • (Preferred) Knowledge of Azure Data Services including Azure DevOps, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Factory.
  • (Preferred) Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
