About this Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with 6–9 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO and S/4HANA application operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, preferably with qualifications such as MBA Finance, CA, ICWA, or CFA. Experience in manufacturing or telecom industries is desirable. This role demands analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a global environment, including shadow or shift mode assignments.

What you’ll do

  • Deliver SAP FICO consulting and implementation services in an S/4HANA environment.
  • Support and configure modules including General Ledger (new GL), Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Real Estate (RE-FX), Investment Management, Project Systems, Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax (including withholding tax), Treasury, Intercompany Accounting, Budgeting & Planning.
  • Provide expertise in niche modules such as In-House Cash (IHC), Travel & Expenses (T&E), Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC).
  • Integrate third-party tax tools such as SABRIX.
  • Apply ITIL V3 knowledge to manage service operations effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams and contribute to end-to-end system landscape configuration.
  • Facilitate workshops, gather data, diagnose issues, and communicate solutions effectively.
  • Demonstrate Vodafone Way behaviours including customer focus, adaptability, and performance through people.

Who you are

  • A graduate or postgraduate in technical or business disciplines (Engineering, MBA Finance, CA, ICWA, CFA).
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Experienced in SAP FICO and S/4HANA operations (6–9 years).
  • Skilled in analytical thinking, data gathering, and problem diagnosis.
  • Comfortable working in team environments and flexible to shadow/shift mode assignments.
  • Knowledgeable in ITIL practices (preferably V3).
  • Exposure to global projects or multilingual environments is a plus.
