About this Role

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP MM/EWM Consultant to join our EVO-ERP team within VOIS India. This permanent role is based in Pune, Bangalore or Ahmedabad and involves working on the FuncOps project. The individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP MM and EWM solutions across Vodafone’s global operations. The role requires deep expertise in SAP S4 Hana, SAP RISE, and core modules such as P2P, Inventory Management, and Logistics. Candidates must be comfortable working in a shift model and occasionally travelling.

What you’ll do

  • Architect and govern SAP MM/EWM solution designs within the EVO team.
  • Analyse business requirements and deliver full end-to-end SAP solutions.
  • Configure organisational structures and master data including vendor, material, and service records.
  • Support MM/EWM processes such as P2P, subcontracting, stock transfers, service procurement, GR/GI, and inventory adjustments.
  • Handle incident and problem management, including major incident resolution and OSS note assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams (SD/MM/GTM) and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain process documentation and contribute to training materials.
  • Engage with internal and external auditors, SI partners, and supply chain owners to ensure data integrity and process compliance.
  • Lead workshops and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Who you are

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in Engineering or Business (MBA preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in SAP MM/EWM consulting and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S4 Hana, SAP RISE, and niche modules such as WM, SD.
  • Experience with international/domestic clients in manufacturing or telecom sectors.
  • Proficient in ABAP interaction, Smart Forms, and basic workflow understanding.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Demonstrates analytical thinking, facilitation skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with ITIL V3 is desirable.
  • Comfortable working in a team of ~25 members and in shift mode.
  • Holds a valid Indian passport; travel requirement is rare.
