What you’ll do

The Cyber Security Manager delivers cyber security activities, aligning global cyber security risk reduction with local market business and technology priorities and in line with the global cyber security strategy to be implemented in the local market/s. The Cyber Security Manager focusses upon the supervision of a team of Cyber Security professionals who carry out activities which protect Vodafone from security threats and reduce risk across Vodafone�s technology infrastructure and implement security controls across Vodafone with a single design. Typically reports to the Senior Cyber Security Manager.

Who you are

* Assists and advises the technical teams on the Cyber security platforms across their full lifecycle;

* Has full people supervisory responsibility for a team of Cyber Security professionals, and contributes to the transformation of the Cyber Security capability, ongoing maintenance and any related security projects to make sure controls are effective;

* Uses best practice knowledge to detect, identify and respond to cyber events, threats, security risks and vulnerabilities with effective management of response plans across the security platform lifecycle;

* Understands transformation needs and supports to transform global security infrastructure management, delivering a consistent operating model that reduces security risk to Vodafone;

* Drives and maintains the delivery of cyber security improvements and projects in the market to make sure controls are effective and aligned with future security capability strategies and with strategic partners/vendors;

* Demonstrates solid communication skills to co-create, promote and enable Cyber Defence best practices across the market/s;

* Works effectively with colleagues across Technology and in Corporate Security, Audit and Risk.
