About this Role
Centre (VSS India) for telecommunications platforms and services. The role involves preparing and executing test plans, ensuring adherence to agreed standards and timelines, and contributing to continuous improvement through lessons learned. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience in test management across the full SDLC in a Telco environment, with strong communication and orchestration skills, and a solid foundation in CRM, Billing, and API testing.
What you will do
- Review and approve newly developed automations before production deployment.
- Maintain production environments using incident, change, and problem management processes.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and customers during daily operations.
- Mentor and onboard junior team members.
- Maintain and report on business line KPIs.
Who you are
- A graduate in technology with experience working in international, distributed teams.
- Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects of varying complexity.
- Skilled in stakeholder communication and influence across all organisational levels.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities with experience in planning and milestone tracking.
- ISTQB Foundation certified in Software Testing.
- Experienced in testing Billing/Mediation, CRM (preferably Oracle-Siebel), and Online Media portals in a Telco environment.
- Proficient in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Familiar with automation tools such as Selenium/BDD Cucumber using Java/Python.
- Capable of validating and modifying SQL queries.
- Experienced with Jira, Xray, and structured test methodologies.
- Exposure to Agile/SAFe models and cross-functional test teams is a plus.
