About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Release Manager with a strong background in software testing and DevOps practices. The individual will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end release lifecycle, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of software releases. This includes planning, coordinating, and managing releases across multiple teams, while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

What you will do

  • Plan and manage the release lifecycle, including scheduling, coordination, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with IT operations and development teams to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Lead release readiness and post-release reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Communicate project timelines, requirements, and updates across cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate resources and schedules based on third-party applications, defect backlogs, and infrastructure updates.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact release timelines or quality.
  • Track progress, resolve issues, and enhance release processes.
  • Conduct CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings to review release plans and address roadblocks.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation on release procedures, dependencies, and notifications.
  • Provide weekly updates on release activities and lead Go-Live efforts.

Who you are

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in software testing, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Proven experience in managing release cycles and coordinating across multiple teams.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Proficient in Power BI for reporting and analysis.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or HP ALM is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
