We are looking for a Senior Android TV Expert (m/f/d) with extensive experience in the development of Android applications who takes on the challenge of integrating such applications on our Vodafone set-top boxes and, together with colleagues, (further) develops this application for the best possible TV experience.

 

What to expect:

  • As a Senior Android TV Expert (m/f/d) you are part of an international agile development team that is responsible for the development and integration of the next generation of our TV applications. 
  • You will work directly with the development partners on the TV applications for our end customers with the highest standards of quality and user-friendliness.
  • You identify trends and optimization potential and find the best possible solutions for our TV applications together with our interface partners such as product management and customer service.
  • As part of a DevOps team, you coordinate the collaboration between development and interface partners and actively work on the step-by-step further development of our
  • TV applications.  

 

What makes you stand out:

  • A degree in a technical or scientific subject with a focus on software development, information technology or similar.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of software development
  • An independent way of working and resourcefulness to a high degree. 
  • Broad knowledge of concepts, processes and practices in your area of responsibility. 
  • Very good written and spoken German and English (C1 according to GER).

 

This position may be full-time or near full-time part-time (minimum 30 hours).
