Your day to day:

Preventive and corrective second level troubleshooting ensuring quality, continuity of service and the restoring time for Voice Core Network elements. 2nd Line Operations of Voice Core Platforms in a Multimarket environment.

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

  • As Junior Specialist, you are responsible for providing 2nd level support for applications, services and infrastructures in the Mobile Core environment CSDB, HSS, HLR, UDM, MSS, MGW, STP
  • You track defined service level agreements and system KPIs for the responsible services and monitor their compliance and react proactively to impending violations of target values and quality restrictions with the involvement of the other 2nd level teams required for this.
  • You will independently identify and implement optimisation measures to prevent incidents.
  • You are responsible for escalation management and execute or support

With these skills you are a great candidate:

  • Basic understanding of voice mobile core protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, SCTP, GTP, Radius, Diameter, LDAP, SIGTRAN, RANAP, GMM).
  • Basic knowledge of mobile network architectures 2G/4G/5G with experience in main vendors technologies (Nokia, E//).
  • Eager and willing to learn new technologies and processes
  • Basic experience in E2E network analysis and troubleshooting, problem- and changemanagement. Analyse and interpret traces (Wireshark traces, network element traces, logs).
  • Good communication skills. English (spoken and written). Nice to have German or Italian skills

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • University degree: faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology
  • 2 years of experience in Telecommunication, on similar position.
  • Hands on experience with Voice Core elements (CSDB, HSS, HLR, UDM, MSS, MGW, STP).
