What you’ll do

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Technical Lead with expertise in Spring Boot, Java, and extensive experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java and AWS cloud services. As a Java Technical Lead, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions that leverage AWS services to meet the needs of our clients and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of complex software solutions using Spring Boot, Java, Node.js, React, and AWS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers on best practices for AWS development and deployment.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in development processes and methodologies leveraging AWS services.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and AWS best practices.
  • Stay updated on AWS cloud services, tools, and technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
  •  Contributes to delivery of development activities in line with the business brief and SLAs;
  • Understands the business needs and provides technological support of demand management during concept and solution design phases and change requests;
  • Maintains strong relations with relevant stakeholders, to include Architects, Solution Designers, project team and vendors;
  • May provide informal guidance to junior staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in software development.
  • Proven expertise in Spring Boot, Java, Node.js, and AWS cloud services.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.
  • Experience deploying solutions on AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment is preferred.
