Responsibilities
Application Development:
Design and develop server-side applications using Nest.js and TypeScript.
Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for robust data exchange.
Create and maintain microservices architectures where applicable.
System Design & Architecture:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and efficient system architectures.
Ensure systems are secure, optimized for performance, and fault-tolerant.
Code Quality & Best Practices:
Write clean, modular, and well-documented code adhering to best practices.
Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with team coding standards.
Optimize application performance by identifying bottlenecks and improving response times.
Database Management:
Design and maintain databases, including SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) solutions.
Optimize queries and database performance to handle large-scale data efficiently.
Team Collaboration:
Mentor junior developers and assist in onboarding new team members.
Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless integrations.
Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.


Testing & Deployment:
Develop unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability.
Automate deployment pipelines and manage CI/CD workflows.

Technical skills: 
Proficiency in Nest.js and TypeScript.
Strong understanding of Node.js fundamentals.
Experience with database management and ORM frameworks (e.g., TypeORM, Prisma).
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
Hands-on experience with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).

 

Professional Experience:
5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
3+ years of experience with Nest.js in production-grade applications.
Knowledge & Tools:
Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
Understanding of API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger).
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth2, JWT).

 

Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Proven ability to work in an agile environment.
