Role Purpose/Business Unit:

 

Proactively manage relationships across all ASOC operations to manage, track, monitor, analyse, control and report on the performance of the mobile CDN network resources using available tools

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Monitoring, tracking, analysis, controlling and reporting of the network performance of the core packet network using all available tools
  • Support the onboarding of new nodes and interfaces
  • Stakeholder engagement and relationship management
  • Ensure data in available tools are at a high level of accuracy – focus on automation
  • Undertake root cause analysis for complex major incidents and escalated faults
  • Communicate effectively to internal and external customers

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

 

  • 4-year Graduate degree in engineering, data analytics or equivalent diploma
  • 3+ years’ of experience Data Network including DNS, Firewall, and Caching Server Knowledge, TCP Optimization and Traffic Analysis. Routing, VRF, and Switching Expertise
  • Proven statistical analysis skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with team members to deliver results
  • Innovation
  • Experience with Vodacom performance management tools (advantage)
  • Experience in Vodacom probe tools and application (advantage)
