Role Purpose/Business Unit:

 

Manage network performance, site planning and optimisation, and resolve customer queries

Your responsibilities will include:

 

Responsible for Radio Network Planning, Motivations and RF design solutions, integration and
post implementation verification of 2G/3G/4G/5G sites, (Greenfield, Rooftops, IBS, Small Cell,
CEs, and Special Events).
Manage all customer related queries until resolved. Supporting Customer Care, VIP Escalations,
PM, Property and EBU/CBU departments.
Conduct drive/walk tests, provide analysis and implement solutions on major routes, centres as
well as customer queries.
Provide ad-hoc network planning reports to requesting internal parties. Ensure planning tool and
databases are accurate at all times.
Investigate and rectify all network quality faults received from network quality, network
performance, CIC, management and the NMC
Conduct cluster optimisation.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

 

3 year degree or National Diploma in Electrical or Electronics in Engineering or equivalent
3 – 5 years relevant experience
Telecommunications (GSM & UTRAN) courses essential    
Minimum of 3 years relevant GSM experience (inclusive of 2 years LTE experience) is essential
Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:
Computer applications (e.g. MS Office & MAPINFO,IBWAVE)    
Analysis & Probing tools (e.g., Actix, Sonar, Atoll, Netscout)    
GSM Knowledge    GSM, UMTS & LTE knowledge    
U2020
Network components    
Statistical tools    
Current Vendor UTRAN equipment
