Role Purpose/Business Unit:

 

  • Cultivating and managing constructive working relationships with Business Stakeholders.
  • Co-ordinating and Reporting on improvement initiatives within Vodacom with a specific focus on Process Improvements, Risk mitigation and Risk awareness.   
  • Providing Specialist support to the Forensic Division.

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Interfacing with the  Customer experience team to ensure  communication through touch points are consistent and ensuring correct processes are in place to support the communication
  • Ensuring correct and relevant reconciliations between online transitions and financial institutions are in place.
  • Communication on and Co-ordination of Process and System improvement initiatives.
  • Creating monthly/weekly reports  on fraud findings/ causes/ recommendations and statistics with support from Senior Specialist and Principal Specialist Process Solution and Improvement
  • Extracting and Consolidating Information for the Forensic Department to aid in investigations.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

 

  • Matric / SAQA Accredited Equivalent (essential)
  • 3 year Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or Equivalent ( Essential )
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Intermediate / Advanced SQL (PLSQL) and/or  Informix  (Essential)
  • Experience with  system process and   data structures
  • Tactically astute, with a proven track record in the delivery of challenging business results.

  • Has extensive knowledge of Vodacom’s Products, Services and Business Processes.
